![]() Yesterday I stopped by turners to 'check' out the c39v2.Ī new shipment just came in after being on back order for 4 months. Last week I had to add a tanker endorsement to my CDL and the guy at the DMV punched a hole in my license. I did put a deposit on the rifle and I'm hoping my license will get here soon. Still has my picture, date of birth, drivers ID, and everything else thats important on a drivers license. No valuable information is affected by the hole punch. ![]() Is a drivers license with a hole punch in it a valid ID? I have an expired license with a hole punched in it by the DMV to make it obvious that it is expired. I expect that if a driver presented that old DL during a stop, it would be legal for an officer to seize it. ![]() Handing over my license I saw the hole and I was hoping they wouldn't notice but the guy did and he wouldn't let me go any further with the DROS.Įdit: Mike Murphy notes in a comment that the California DMV will let you keep an old driver's license, but will punch a hole in it to indicate that it is expired and/or no longer valid.
